Not printing after being in storage

Finally got printer out of being in storage (due to an unexpected move), connected it back up to due some printing.

Printer connected to Wi Fi ok, info panel says ink levels fine, printer goes through the motions but does not print, tried cleaning printheads, requested new cartridges the found out that HP can lock the cartridges from printing as not been used for a long time. Have a printing plan in place to monitor ink levels although it not been used for a couple of years.

How do I find out if printer been locked and how to get it unlocked?

It's not locked. Ink dries inside the cartridge if the printer is not used for a longer period, replace ink cartridges with a new fresh one.
