HP ENVY Pro 6430 All-in-One Printer

I am constantly seeing the following light configuration on my printer and don’t know what it means. Can someone please help me?

I understand all the lights on your HP ENVY Pro 6430 All-in-One Printer are blinking, it usually indicates an error or a problem that needs attention. 

Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot:
 

  • Check for Jams or Blockages: Open the printer and check for any paper jams or obstructions in the paper path.
  • Power Cycle the Printer: Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for about 60 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on.
  • Check Ink Cartridges: Ensure the ink cartridges are properly installed and that there are no issues, such as low ink levels or incompatible cartridges.
  • Reset the Printer: Perform a factory reset if the problem persists. Refer to your printer's user manual for instructions on how to do this.
  • Check for Firmware Updates: Ensure your printer's firmware is up to date by visiting the HP website or using the HP Smart app. Update the firmware on an HP printer

Hi @Gaya1239,

The lights on the control panel aren't flashing, they're static.  The one on the bottom-left rotates through colours but doesn't actually flash.  I have done all the trouble-shooting I have found, including restoring printer back to factory settings, but nothing has erased the lights, or allowed printing.

Do youhave any other suggestions before I throw the printer out?

Using the Print & Scan Doctor I have discovered that the printer is stuck in scan mode. How do I fix this?
