I bought this June 2020 to use on my boat; it worked fine last summer. Now it won't power up. The battery is showing five lights. The orange light for power was working , now it has stopped. Printer is only a year old. HP support is no help!

@Nelson367, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.
I understand the printer is not powering up. Have you tied using an alternate compatible power cable?
Kindly perform the steps mentioned in this document - HP printer does not turn on
Reset the printer
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
- Wait at least 60 seconds.
- Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
- Turn ON the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
- Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you proceed.
Note: HP recommends connecting the printer directly to a wall outlet rather than a surge protector or a power strip.
If this does not help, unplug the power cable and hold the power button down for 10-15 seconds and release it. Power on the printer and check.
If the issue persists, I'm afraid this is a hardware failure. Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.
If the printer is out of warranty, I suggest you upgrade the printer. You may visit Hp Store to check the available printers.
