My Officejet 4630 has been great for years except now it is displaying 'Error Message OXBO
D7124 'and I can't get it to print. WiFi is fine and restart does not work. All connections are good. I like this printer but it is old but would like to fix this error. Any suggestions? Also, if I have to buy a new printer, which one is connectable so I can print from my Iphone as this 4630 will not. Can't exit this line thru either.

Hi @Jerry846,
Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.
Here’s a plan to tackle your HP Officejet 4630 error and prepare for a possible replacement that works seamlessly with your iPhone:
Fixing the “OXBO D7124” Error on the Officejet 4630
Though that specific code isn’t well-documented, similar HP error codes like 0B01D7124 suggest a power/reset or firmware issue.
Perform a Power Drain / Hard Reset
Remove all ink cartridges.
Unplug the power cord from both the printer and the wall outlet.
Wait 60 seconds, then press and hold the power button for ~15–30 seconds.
Plug the power cord back directly into a wall outlet (avoid surge protectors), reconnect the printer, and power it on.

Reseat or Test with One Cartridge
Reinsert cartridges, or test with just one (usually black) to check if the error clears.

Update or Reinstall Firmware
Use a USB connection to update firmware, which has resolved mysterious errors in the past.

Deep Reset / Semi-Full Reset (If Available)
Some HP models allow a semi-full reset via a series of button presses—refer to the service menu if accessible.

If none of these steps resolve the issue, it’s likely a hardware or firmware failure.
If You Need a New Printer (iPhone-Compatible)
When switching to a new printer, look for models that support AirPrint, Apple AirPrint, or good mobile apps like HP Smart—simplifying printing from an iPhone.
Recommended Models
HP Smart Tank 580 / 670
Refillable ink tanks with wireless / mobile app printing, ideal for frequent tasks.

HP Envy Pro 6420
Compact and pocket-friendly, works smoothly with HP’s iOS app and AirPrint.
