OfficeJet 4630 goes into sleep mode after a few minutes of inactivity. This is normal; at usually sending the next print or scan job wakes the printer up. But at least once a day, it cannot be woken up from sleep mode and appears offline to the devices I need to print and scan from. Pressing keys/buttons on the printer itself will not wake it up. The only way to resolve this is to unplug the power cord and plug it back in. It restarts normally and I can then print, scan, etc. from any of my devices.
I have tried searching for firmware updates but there are never any new updates to install.

@JarrodB, Welcome to HP Support Community!
Follow the steps below-
Assign manual IP to the printer
The steps on how to set a manual IP address can be found here.
For the DNS servers please use 8.8.8.8 for the Manual Preferred DNS Server and 8.8.4.4 for the Alternate DNS server. These are Google’s public DNS servers
Update the printer firmware
Check for updates from the printer front panel. Refer to the document HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Unfortunately neither suggestion worked. The printer still freezes, multiple times daily.
It's not that the printer loses its connection to the network or to other devices that I want to print from, but rather that it goes into a frozen/asleep mode from which it cannot be awoken except by unplugging it from the wall and plugging it back in. This still happens even after changing the IP settings. In this frozen state I cannot even use the controls/buttons on the printer itself to carry out any functions including a simple Copy. I can't even navigate the on-screen menus on the printer, until I unplug it from the wall and power it back up. Then I can usually use it normally for an hour, maybe two, maybe 6, until it freezes again and becomes unresponsive.
I was hoping it could be a firmware issue, but every time I check for new available firmware it always tells me there are no new updates. Perhaps I need to roll back to a previous firmware version? Is that possible?

Firmware downgrade is not an option.
Please reach out to the HP Support in your region for further course of action.
Hope this helps!
