Product: HP OfficeJet 6950 All-in-One Printer

Hello. I purchased a 6950 printer in the UK, which ran with 903 ink cartridges. After moving back to the US, I bought 902 ink cartridges (as specified for the printer), but the printer is now saying "incompatible / the indicated cartridges are not intended for use in this printer". I had a look on these boards and think I may need help to do a regional reset on the printer. Can someone help me with this / getting my printer working in the US?
