HP OfficeJet Pro 6978
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The specs on the HP OfficeJet Pro 6978 state that it can print 110 card stock, however, when I attempt to print, it seems to hold the paper, lose the top margin, and start printing at the very top of the page.  In other words, on a document where there is a 1" margin at the top, it prints a 0" margin.  Where there is a 2" margin, it prints a 1" margin.   Unfortunately, my project is very specific about where things should be printed on the page and the printer is cutting off the top part.

Thank you both.  I got tired of messing with it and wasting paper so I bought some lighter card stock.  I believe the specs are inaccurate stating that it can print 110# card stock.

Have a good evening and thanks again for trying.

Welcome to HP Forums,

This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips to your technical queries.

Is the printer printing fine with the regular document?

Did you try to print from the different application?

Have you tried any troubleshooting steps on your own?

Thank you. Unfortunately, the first link it's not working.

Yes, I did troubleshoot. It prints normally on 67# card stock but prints too high on 110#.

I tried printing from multiple programs with the same result.

Thank you again for your response.
