OfficeJet Pro 6830 AIO
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

For pretty much the entire time I've had the refurbished printer (I got one with the printhead error) I've heard a slight whining noise. I really didn't notice it at first since I wasn't spending a lot of time in my office. Over the past few months I've been in the office more and I can't stand the noise any longer. I found where others on this forum have contacted HP to receive a revised power supply, however, I'm out of warranty...even though its refurbished. Anyone know who to contact to get a revised power supply, I can't seem to find a place to order one without having to call HP and pay a fee for out-of-warranty calls? Thanks in advance.

Hey @WC20!

Thanks for reaching out on the HP support forums!  I understand your OfficeJet Pro 6830 is getting a little too noisy for your liking and you want to source out a power supply to see if it resolves the issue.

Go here to source out that power supply.  Prior to doing so, see if a firmware update does the trick, if you can't isolate the noise to the power supply.  Otherwise, try the power supply.

Thanks!

RedViking6,

Thanks for the answer! I feel really dumb that I couldn't find the parts store on here, suppose I need to look a little harder next time. I found what I hope to be the correct part. Thanks again!
