We are sorry to tell you that HP company has updated their printer models that use HP 952XL/902XL ink cartridges on 12.1 2020. I am afraid this recognition issues of the ink cartridge is caused by the lately printer update. We can't control the printer upgrade, which is a way for the OEM seller to resist our third-party seller, but we will be trying our best to improve our products to make them work better in the printer.
Regarding your case, I have issued a full refund of the HP 902xl cartridges for you. Most refunds are fully refunded in 3-5 business day. Kindly please check attached picture of refund detail and wait for it.
