My printer recently stopped printing in magenta. I have done the printerhead cleaning and alignment, and still it will only print using black, cyan, and yellow. The ink cartridges are all 902 (except black which is 902XL), and they are all genuine HP ink cartridges that I recently replaced last week.

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you.

 

Make sure you have cleaned the printhead up to 3 times as mentioned in step 2 of this document.

 

Also, perform steps 9 and 10 from the same document. If the print quality page does not print magenta, I'm afraid this could be a hardware issue either with the magenta ink cartridge or the printhead.

 

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.

Hi @Kumar0307, 

 

I tried cleaning the printhead 3x and doing steps 9 and 10, and it still will not print Magenta. The nearest official service store is about 45 minutes away from me. Are there any other resources available, or will I have to take my printer to this store?
