HP OfficeJet Pro 8020 series

Suddenly the cyan cartridge is no longer recognized by the printer.  There is no error message.  Although the cyan cartridge was not empty, I replaced it with a brand new one, but still not printing blue.  The printer status report appears to show that the printer does not even recognize that a cyan cartridge is in installed (see attached).  I ran the self cleaning maintenance option several times to no avail.  The print quality diagnostic page also shows no cyan (also attached). My attempt to perform an align failed with an error saying it can't scan the sheet.printqualitypage.jpgprinterstatusreport.jpg

Thanks for the reply.  Sorry about the serial #.  The cyan cartridge that was in there originally was working fine until it suddenly stopped being recognized -- it was not empty.  However, my first step was to replace it with a brand new cyan cartridge, which made no difference whatsoever.  It doesn't seem likely that whatever suddenly occurred with the first cartridge when it suddenly stopped working, is also defective with a brand new cartridge.
