Hi @GreenAbbey,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

The blue screen with the error code e 89193761 on your HP OfficeJet Pro 8025 indicates a printer error that often requires troubleshooting to resolve. Here’s what you can try to fix it.

Power Cycle the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer using the power button.
  • Unplug the power cord from the printer and from the power outlet.
  • Wait at least 60 seconds.
  • Plug the power cord back into the printer and into the power outlet.
  • Turn on the printer using the power button.

Reset the Printer:

  • If power cycling doesn’t work, try resetting the printer.
  • Locate the reset button (often a small hole) on the back or side of the printer.
  • Use a paperclip or similar tool to press and hold the reset button for 10-15 seconds.
  • Release the reset button and wait for the printer to initialize.

Check for Paper Jams:

  • Paper jams can cause error messages. Open all access doors and check for any stuck paper.
  • Gently remove any paper jams you find.

Check Ink or Toner Cartridges:

  • Ensure that all ink or toner cartridges are properly installed and seated correctly.
  • Replace any empty or faulty cartridges.

Update Printer Firmware:

  • Sometimes updating the printer’s firmware can resolve errors.
  • Visit the HP support website, enter your printer model, and download the latest firmware update instructions.

Following these steps should help you resolve the error on your HP OfficeJet Pro 8025 printer.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.

After some hours of powering off and then on, and setting to factory reset, the printer was able to print again.  I had to reinitialize web services due to the factory reset, but I managed to do that.  However, although there is absolutely no printer jam, the printer keeps flashing the message that there is a paper jam.  If I press OK, I am able to print, but I can't seem to get rid of the message.  Thanks, Abbey
