Re OfficeJet Pro 8025e. I’m having issues printing on 5x7 thick paper/card stock. Only part of the image is printing. I’ve tried the following:
Paper loaded correctly, as per the guide.
Have printed both landscape & portrait orientations, as well as flipping the image around.
Settings: paper size 5x7, paper type plain thick, photo size full page (and have tried 5x7), margins normal, shrink to fit.
Have tried jpg, png, & word.
Paper size and type updated on printer itself.
The preview looks perfect, and it sounds like it’s printing the full page, but I’m not sure where the ink is going!
Please help! It’s driving me crazy.

Missing the Operating System / version makes a precise answer impossible, of course.
No matter - perhaps there is enough here to help you determine some places to (re)check and / or adjust the setup.
First, it is important that the paper size, type, AND paper weight are supported.
Of all the checkpoints, this is crucial -- the printer must support the paper you want to use.

Next,
After the supported paper is properly loaded into the printer ( User Guide - Page 18 )
Another "Must Have" checkpoint > Tray and Paper
Alert the printer to the Paper Size & Type
Notes
- HP Smart Mobile requires the paper size and type to be adjusted before the content is opened for Print.
- If you are using supported HP Card Paper (Index), select Media type "Plain Paper, Thick"
- If you are using card paper closer to (or exactly as) Brochure / Professional paper (180 gsm), perhaps select Media type "Specialty Paper - Matte" or "Specialty Paper, Glossy"

Next,
From here and on, it would be better to know the Operating System / version and the software or application used to print the image.
The following is provided FYI.
Office Word - Printing
True -- Word counts as an effort and sever Operating Systems provide access to Office Word. That said, there are so many "gotchas" in Word that it might not the best test for printing a plain image-only photo. It works, there are just considerations that must be addressed to print photos in Word.
If the content is mixed, then there is the question of whether the text content is printing correctly and just the image / photo is off center, missing, wrong sized.
If you wish to pursue Word as the preferred software, provide your Operating System and version of Word. I can look at my notes and perhaps offer suggestions. Also indicate whether the content is mixed or an Image only to be printed on the supported card paper.
Moving on...
Photo / Image Printing
Given a supported paper size, supported paper type, and supported paper weight,
The next step is to open, view, configure, and submit the job to the printer.
Note: If you are actually having orientation issues, that is, the orientation you select is not sticking the way you want it done,
Switch OFF "HP Real Life Technologies" in your software / application.
General Example - HP Smart - Windows - Simple Photo Print
This sample illustrates using Paper Size A4

Thank you for such a detailed response! I did add my operating system, which seems to have disappeared. I've readded it - Windows 11. Paper size, type, weight, etc., have all been checked and are correct. I purchased a different type of cardstock, and the top, bottom, or sides of the document are still missing on the print-out, depending on how I adjust the settings. Following numerous variations of settings, I'm yet to print out a successful version. Frustrating to say the least.

You are welcome.
What is the weight of the new card paper?
Is the new card paper white, cream, or a colored paper?
Print surface? Smooth or ?
Have you solved the issue with the orientation ?
Are you printing portrait or landscape?
Perhaps selecting just one type of job will help determine what is going on...
Document / File format?
For example,
Photo / Image? Word document? Word document Exported to PDF and printing PDF?
Job configuration differs slightly depending on the software / application and the content.
What is the software / application you are using?
Does the document / image / PDF file print on Letter/ A4 sized, plain paper?
For reference ---
Have you tried uninstalling / reinstalling the full driver printer software?
Does the problem impact any 5x7 inch job or just the one document?
If the "document" is actually an image / photo file, what is the pixel size of the file?
Size of file in Pixels
Open File Explorer
Navigate to the folder in which the file is located
Right-Click on the image file name > Properties > tab Details
Check the size of the image > Dimensions
