My OfficeJet Pro 8100 has decided it doesn't want to Magenta. I inherited it from a different organization so I can't speak to it's entire history, but when it arrived it had all printer cartridges installed. The problem has arisen after I replaced the magenta cartridge. The new cartridge printed well for a few sheets but the quality quickly dropped off. I assumed it was maybe just a bad cartridge and replaced it. Unfortunately, the quality issue has persisted even after I've ran the alignment and cleaning tools.
There was a similar question posed a few years back (https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Inkjet-Printing/Officejet-Pro-8100-Printing-Problem/m-p/5770609). A commentor mentioned there might be a deeper cleaning than what's available from the tools. Can anyone elaborate on that? At this point I have a whole ton of HP 952 ink so I'd rather keep this printer if possible!
