I am having trouble printing on my officejet pro 8740; delete and reinstall drivers and that didn't help. Nopw I am having trouble even getting driver to install. Printer is connected wirelessly to the network and prints fine on two windows 10, 32 bit computers I have also connected to the same network, so I am thinking it may have something to do with a recent windows 10 update. Anyone having similar problems or know of a solution?

@RickR55, Welcome to HP Support Community!
Restart the print spooler and try uninstalling the drivers-
Press “Windows key” + “r” to get the “Run” window.
Type "services.msc" to get Services – Go to “Print spooler” – Right-click and “Stop” the service.
Now again open "Run" - Type “spool” and ok - Go to PRINTERS folder - delete everything in that folder.
Go to services again - Start the print spooler.
Now uninstall and reinstall the printer driver.
Let me know how this goes.
Hope this helps!

I am having the exact same issue and I truly believe it has to do with Windows 10 update. All was printing without any problems for me until the Windows 10 update which was either October 1st or 2nd. I use the application almost on a daily bases 8 hours a day for things such as fashion show events and now I cannot print them.

Could you please help me with the ecat model name or the product number or the printer?
Keep me posted.
Thank you for joining the HP Community.
Have a great day!

I was trying this suggestion but I got a little worried about uninstalling and reinstalling drivers so I stopped the process. Are you referring to printer drivers and if so I am assuming that they would be on my CD?
