My printer no longer prints jobs I send from a Windows 10 PC or Android device. The job arrives, "Printing" appears on the printer display, there are two quiet clicks, and then it stays that way. The job appears in the print queue on the PC with the status "printing."
I've already deleted and reinstalled the printer driver, tried installing it via the Smart App, and reset the printer to factory settings using a hard reset.
When I try to print a status page from the printer, it works without any problems. The ink cartridges are full and paper is loaded.
What can I do?

Hi @onkelsibb,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

Basic Checks:

  • Ensure that the printer is powered on and properly connected to the network.
  • Check for any paper jams or low ink levels.

Clear the Print Queue:

  • Press Windows + R to open the Run dialog, type services.msc, and press Enter.
  • Scroll to the Print Spooler service, right-click, and select Stop.
  • Open File Explorer and navigate to C:\Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS.
  • Delete all files in this folder.
  • Go back to the Services window, right-click on Print Spooler, and select Start.

Run the HP Print and Scan Doctor:

Firmware Update:

  • Make sure your printer firmware is up-to-date.
  • Visit the HP Support page to check for and install the latest firmware updates for your printer model.

Reset Printer:

  • Power off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  • Wait for about 60 seconds, then plug it back in and power it on.

Network Connection:

  • Ensure that the printer is connected to the same WiFi network as your computer or mobile device.
  • Perform a network connection test from the printer's control panel to verify the connection status.

I hope this helps.
