Just receive an Officejet 3833 from Bestbuy. I have removed the packing material, inserted paper sheets and ink cartridges that came with the printer, following the instructions.
When I turn the power on, a sheet goes down half way and i received messages such as paper jam or remove inside packing material inside or jam printer head.
Is there anything I can do before returning the printer to Bestbuy?

First, remove the ink cartridges and close the door, can you see the same error or a different error of missing cartridges?
Please make sure you install the cartridges correctly, with the label facing up:
May you see any difference then? the error you describe is common when incorrectly installing the ink cartridges, with the label facing to the front.
