Installed new genuine cartridges, followed all cleaning, aligning etc suggestions. Printer will not print black. Colours appear fine. Tried on/off etc - no black ink printing.

The black inkjet on the printhead is clogged.
Since the printhead is fixed you can try soaking it from the bottom.
Youtube has many vids on cleaning a fixed HP printhead.

Using the copy option from the front panel do you see any black ink on the copy?

The black ink clogged, try cleaning the printhead again.
Is the printer warranty over?

Are you kidding me? I purchased HP for a reason, this is not it. Where the hell is the real support that used to be available. I can barely move the printer let alone soak the printheads. Thanks for nothing.
