HP OfficeJet 4650 Printer
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hello, I have a HP OfficeJet 4650 Printer: after 1 year and half I had trouble about printing and it replaced with another recycled one by HP Assistance. Now, after six months of very little used, again a worse problem: it doesn't print in black nor in color. The cartridges are at half level, I tried to take them apart and put them back on, test with disk doctor, sfw is updated, nothing to do; maybe a hardware issue with the ink cartridge or with the printer itself? Can anyone help me? Thanks in advance.

Problem solved: it was very simple and strange that no one suggested it to me or that there is no warning in the hp support that it could be the dried cartridges. Likely, I got the doubt, as the little use of the printer (like I wrote in my post), that the problem was this: I cleaned the nozzles of the cartridges by alcohol and put them in hot water and voilà, now it prints both in black and in color.

Thank so much Silvyg, but I followed before the suggestions in that document already without result.

Thanks again, the printer is out of warranty and I can take advantage of the telephone assistance only for a fee, and I don't have confidence in the remote Hp assistance, I presume that they give the same advice I had from Hp twitter and from this forum (which are the same that I can find on the Hp site or on youtube videos).
