I replaced red, yellow and blue cartriges after printer lites indicated to do so. After replacement it prints only a blank piece of paper on a test print. I then removed cartriges and cleaned cartrige slots on printer to insure they were not blocked with dried ink. I then reset printer and did not clear issue. I then followed HP guide to clean print head. It goes through partial procedure, but then does not print anything as procedure says it should. I then performed the print head alignment procedure and then tried to clean the print head again but it still did not complete the procedure. Still printing a blank page on test print. Any ideas? Is print head bad? I often have had issues in past after replacing cartriges.

DVortex: Thank you for your response. I went thru the 6100 troubleshooting guide you referred to and as I repeated some of the procedures such as cleaning the printhead and printhead alignment I noticed it was starting to print faintly on test page. After a few repetitions a test print came out good. Thanks again for your assistance. BP21
