I am suddenly getting a printer failure error on my Officejet 6600 all-in-one printer. This is after buying brand new ink. I've been actively trying to fix the issue for more than 2 hours, and have tried all the troubleshooting prompts possible. Aside from needing to print documents right now, my next biggest frustration is not being able to actually "speak" to someone in fixing it. Please help!

Hi @jbweber,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand your frustration with the printer issue. I can offer some general suggestions that might help.
- Restart the Printer: Turn off your printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for about 10 seconds, and then plug it back in. Turn on the printer and check if the error persists.
- Check for Firmware Updates: Ensure that your printer has the latest firmware installed. You can usually find firmware updates on the HP website.
- Inspect for Paper Jams: Open the printer cover and check for any paper jams or obstructions. Make sure there are no bits of paper stuck in the printer.
- Reinstall Ink Cartridges: Remove the new ink cartridges, ensure they are properly installed, and then reinsert them securely. Sometimes, a faulty ink cartridge installation can trigger errors.
- Check for Software Issues: Ensure that the printer drivers on your computer are up-to-date. You may need to uninstall and reinstall the printer drivers.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
