I have had a few minor issues in the past with the 6700 but have managed to solve them all. This has me completely stuck. My printer seems to have become invisible to all devices, phones and laptops. It worked perfectly well one evening and the next day nothing.
It is linked to the house wife according to the screen, I have removed it and reconnected it a couple of times just in case. I have used the laptop IP address but it states nothing at this address. I have removed all drivers and tried to reinstate them. This time though the laptop cannot see the printer to reinstate the drivers. It's as if the printer is invisible. I have unplugged from wall, unplugged from extension lead, held off button down for 30 seconds with no power, it has made no difference. I feel it might be time to just buy a new printer.

Could you please help me with the operating system of the computer?
Reset the printer's network settings
1. Touch (right arrow), touch Setup, and then touch Network. Touch Restore Network Defaults, and then touch Yes. A message appears stating that the network defaults have been restored.
2. Touch (right arrow), touch Setup, touch Reports and then touch Print Network Configuration Page to print the network configuration page and verify that the network settings have been reset.
Set up the printer using the Wireless Setup Wizard
The Wireless Setup Wizard provides an easy way to set up and manage a wireless connection to your printer from the printer control panel.
1. Set up the printer hardware. See the getting started guide or the setup poster that came with your printer.
2. On the printer control panel, touch (right arrow), touch Setup, and then touch Network.
3. Touch Wireless Setup Wizard, and then touch OK.
4. Follow the display instructions to complete the setup
Keep me posted, how it goes!

Thanks for your help. Sadly it didn't seem to help. I went through the setup wizard after resetting to factory settings. My laptop cannot find the printer when asked to do so, my phone has the same problem as well. (It thinks the printer doesn't exist) I know very little about IT, could there be a problem with the IP address on the printer? Should it be identical to the Router/wireless IP address? The printer states its connected to my network and the address is correct, the wifi logo on the printer is hard blue with full bars stating the signal strength is strong. It wont all me to connect via a USB lead either.

What is the Operating System on the Laptops and Computers and which phones to you have?
What's the make and model of WiFi router? Do you have 2.4GHz and 5GHZ network enabled on WiFi router?

Its Windows 10 Home edition. I have a Toshiba core i3 laptop. (Getting old)The router as far as I can see is a 2.4 GHz, I cannot see anything mentioned about 5GHz. It's a Realtek RTL8723AE router. Our phones are all modern Samsungs.
The strange thing is, it has been working ok for years and then overnight, nothing!!
Thanks for your help.

Use HP Print and Scan Doctor to check connectivity
Download a special version of HP Print and Scan Doctor.
-
Download HP Print and Scan Doctor.
-
Run HPPSdr.exe from the download location on your computer.
-
Once HP Print and Scan Doctor opens, click Start, and then select your printer.
-
If your printer is not in the list, turn it off and on and then click Retry.
-
If there is a connection problem, follow the instructions in HP Print and Scan Doctor.
-
-
If a screen prompts you to turn on printer updates, click Yes.
-
If a screen prompts you to make your printer the default printer, click Yes.
-
Try to print.
If the issue persists, try Changing from a USB to a Wireless Connection.
