Following a powercut my officejet 9019e is stuck on the initial loading up screen and won't go any further! So I have the HP logo showing and a full bar underneath that shows 100% setup complete but that's it ! It won't do anything else!
I have tried turning off, disconnecting power lead etc, have turned off computer and router and nothing is working ! Help needed if anyone has experience of this problem, thankyou

Hi @Westylj,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
When an HP Officejet 9010e gets stuck on the setup screen, it can be quite frustrating. Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue.
Power Reset:
- Disconnect the power cord from the printer while it is still on.
- Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
- Wait for at least 60 seconds.
- Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet and reconnect it to the printer.
- Turn the printer back on.
Check for Firmware Update:
- If the printer gets past the setup screen after a power reset, check if there is a firmware update available.
- You can do this through the HP Smart app or the HP website by entering your printer model.
Hard Reset:
- Turn off the printer and disconnect the power cord.
- Press and hold the power button for about 15 seconds.
- Reconnect the power cord and turn on the printer.
Printhead and Cartridge Check:
- Open the printer to check if the printhead or cartridges are properly installed.
- Remove and reinstall the cartridges to ensure they are seated correctly.
Network Reset:
- If the printer is connected to a network, try resetting the network settings.
- This can usually be done by navigating to the network settings menu on the printer and selecting the option to reset network settings.
Safe Mode:
- Some HP printers have a service menu accessible by pressing certain key combinations. Check the printer's manual or HP's support website for instructions specific to your model.
- Entering this menu may allow you to reset the printer to factory defaults or perform other maintenance tasks.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
