Printer has suddenly stopped printing colour. There is ink in all cartridges. Colour has been selected in all print options. No colour shows on printer status report or print quality report. Either prints in black & white, or doesn't print anything at all. Tried from several devices; in different formats; wireless and connected via USB; on plain & photo paper; have removed & re-inserted cartridges (they don't look dried out or clogged); have cleaned printhead; have used nearly a month's instantink page quota - and several hours - trying to print two photos, print test pages etc.. Printer shows as up to date and operational - except that it doesn't actually print colour. Now very bored and frustrated.

Printer (in)ability to maintain a wi-fi connection is already very annoying a nd frustrating but usually fixed by switching off & on. This really doesn't help and doesn't encourage one to recommend these printers.

Re Instantink - yes, the correct address is held on the account. I do not have spare colour ink cartridges. They are showing as low. Thanks, Tony

Hi Asmita. Thanks for having the new cartridges sent to me, which I have now inserted into the printer. Unfortunately, it is still printing the photo in black & white. Regards, Tony

Thanks for replying. As the new replacement ink did not fix the issue, this looks like a printhead problem. I'd suggest you Contact HP in your region regarding the printer repair.
