Product: Officejet pro 8600 plus
Operating System: macOS 10.12 Sierra

I have a brand new black cartridge installed and .25 full color cartridges, yet I'm only getting a lightly faded print, looking like black isn't being used at all.

 

I did the cleaning on the print head, and it didn't help.

I understand that you are unable to print in black from your HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus e-All-in-One Printer.

 

This issue could occur if the nozzles of the printhead that print in black are damaged or do not work.

 

Let's go through a few steps that may help to fix this issue.
