My Oficejet Pro 8600 plus appears to need a new print head as I have tried to fix the error  but it keeps coming up with ink system failure'. I have turned it off  & on & pulled out the print head a few times. Would it defintely be the print head that needs fixing? Is it worth purchasing one or should I buy a new printer? If i need to buy a new one can I purchase from hp online?

It all depends up to you is it worth installing a new printhead.

i had a similar issue with print head needing replaced. Just found it difficult to get an engineer to do it... there is a shortage of inkjet printers engineers because buying a new printer is usually the cheaper option
