Having just bought some 301 ink my printer died. Having massive trouble locating a new printer that still takes this ink. Is the 301 dead? I’m having a little cry

You will hardly find in a store brand new printer that uses 301 cartridges because they are no longer produced for some time now, probably a few years. You will have more luck on eBay buying a hardy used one or you might find a new one.


Compatible printers with 301 cartridges are:

 

  • HP Deskjet 1000 Printer (CH340B)
  • HP Deskjet 1010 Printer (CX015B)
  • HP Deskjet 1050 All-in-One Printer (CH346B)
  • HP Deskjet 1050A All-in-One Printer (CQ198B)
  • HP Deskjet 1510 All-in-One Printer (B2L56B)
  • HP Deskjet 1512 All-in-One Printer (C5X26B)
  • HP Deskjet 1514 All-in-One Printer (C5X27B)
  • HP Deskjet 2050 All-in-One Printer (CH350B)
  • HP Deskjet 2050 Special Edition All-in-One Printer (CH355B)
  • HP Deskjet 2050A All-in-One Printer (CQ199B)

Ahh thanks.  I gave up and bought a new fancy pants one.  Gutted that I paid a fortune for the new ink and opened it so can't take it back.   Lots of people offering to take it off my hands for free!  I'd rather drink it...
