Hi @Chispaprinter,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
When the wireless HP Deskjet 4155e printer's orange light is blinking continuously, it typically indicates an issue that needs attention. Here's what you can do to troubleshoot:
Check for Paper Jams:
- Open the printer's access door and check for any paper jams or obstructions inside the printer. Remove any jammed paper carefully.
Inspect Ink Cartridges:
- Ensure that the ink cartridges are properly installed and securely seated in their respective slots. Remove and reinsert the cartridges if necessary.
Reset the Printer:
- Turn off the printer, disconnect the power cord from the power outlet, and wait for about 60 seconds. Then, reconnect the power cord and turn on the printer.
Check Wireless Connection:
- Verify that the printer is properly connected to your wireless network. Check the wireless settings on the printer's control panel or through the printer's web interface.
Restart Wireless Router:
- Restart your wireless router to ensure a stable connection. Sometimes, network issues can cause the printer to go offline.
Update Printer Firmware:
- Check for firmware updates for your HP Deskjet 4155e printer. Visit the HP Support website, enter your printer model, and download/install any available firmware updates.
Run Print Quality Diagnostic:
- Use the printer's built-in diagnostic tools to check for print quality issues or other hardware problems. Refer to your printer's user manual for instructions on how to access and run the diagnostic tests.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
