HP Deskjet F5400

I started using this new printer- and it was working just fine until all of a sudden. There is a blinking orange light and an error Code E where is shows the black and color icons., I checked for paperjam (although I'm not sure if there's a way to FULLY open the printer as i have checked several spots) I replaced the ink carigates serveral of times and have restarted the printer by unplugging all the way, turning it off and on, etc.

My hp app on my desktop is not reading the usb cord connection, and won't let me add this printer. IDK why because it shows that it's connected, and like i said it has been printing the same day. Please help.

@Kyrstin82

Thank you for posting on HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help,

If you have already performed the steps from the document paper jam errors: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c04100778  and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer. HP Support can be reached by clicking on the following link:  www.hp.com/contacthp/

Hope this helps!
