Hi @Momofson1234 ,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

The orange light next to the "i" on your HP DeskJet 2755e printer typically indicates an issue or an error that requires attention. Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:

Check for Paper Jams:

  • Make sure there are no paper jams inside the printer. Open the input tray and check for any stuck paper. If you find any, carefully remove it.

Ink Cartridges:

  • Ensure that the ink cartridges are properly installed. Open the access door to the ink cartridges and make sure they are securely in place.

Paper Tray:

  • Confirm that the paper is loaded correctly in the paper tray. Ensure that the paper guides are adjusted to the correct size of the paper.

Restart the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer, wait for a few seconds, and then turn it back on. Sometimes, a simple restart can clear temporary errors.

Check for Error Messages:

  • If the printer has a display screen, check for any error messages or codes. This can provide more specific information about the issue.

Update Firmware/Drivers:

  • Ensure that your printer has the latest firmware installed. Visit the HP website, enter your printer model, and download any available firmware or driver updates.

Connection Issues:

  • If your printer is connected to a computer, make sure the connection is secure. If it's a wireless connection, ensure that the printer is connected to the correct network.

Low Ink Levels:

  • If the ink levels are low, consider replacing the ink cartridges with new ones.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.-
