Error message "output bin full" after printing one page. Only happens occasionally, not all the time, but don't want it to get worse. Printer only a few months old. Has worked fine until this started recently.

Let us try these steps to resolve this issue:

 

Reset the printer

  1. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  2. Wait at least 60 seconds.
  3. Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
  4. Turn ON the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
  5. Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you proceed.

Note: HP recommends connecting the printer directly to a wall outlet rather than a surge protector or a power strip.

 

Update the printer firmware

On the printer, go to Setup > printer maintenance > Update the printer> Check now

 

Clean the paper pick rollers as mentioned in this document.

 

Monitor the printer. If the issue persists, we may have to perform a factory reset.

I have an HP 9025 Office Jet Pro.  I continually receive an output bin full error, many times after only printing one page.  I have disconnected power cord, waited 60 seconds if not more, plugged back in and have made sure that I have current printer updates.  Its very frustrating as I use the printer wireless many times from a different room and have to always check to make sure the error is not showing.
