I have been using this printer for years with an older MacBook with no issues. I got a MacBook Air and cannot get the printer to work. I have the newest driver installed and can send a doc to print. It goes to the queue, says it’s printing and then says finished and nothing comes out. There are no error messages. I’m running OS 11 Big Sur. I’m connecting directly to the printer with a USB cable. I’m hoping someone can help me as there’s nothing wrong with the printer and I’d rather not have to buy a new one. Thank you!

Hi @Nerdalie,
I'd like to help!
I understand you are unable to print.
HP LaserJet Pro P1102w Printer for macOS 11 is not available from the HP website or Apple Software Update. However, Gutenprint (formerly called Gimp-Print) provides open-source basic print drivers for many printers that would otherwise not be supported in Mac OS. To see if your printer is supported, go to Gutenprint drivers for more information.
NOTE: Gutenprint drivers are not supported by HP or Apple.
If the printer is connected wirelessly you can add the printer with airprint drivers
