I have a realy serious problem when I am trying to print any document from Microsoft Office. It prints a page with @PJL SET JOB NAME="Microsoft Office" and a following one with some black stains on the page. I have fixed the UAC problem (to zero) I unistelled the office and reinstalled many times and may different versions but the problem still exists. The weirdest thing is that it happens only with microsoft word. PDFs and all the other programms work normal. Please help.

Welcome to HP Forums,
This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips,
Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you out 🙂
As I understand, when you print documents from Word, it prints @PJL SET JOB NAME="Microsoft Office"
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:
When was the last time it worked fine?
Were there any hardware/software changes made?
Have you tried printing from another application?
Let's try these steps to resolve the issue:
Root uninstall and reinstall printer drivers:
- Go to Control panel – Programs and feature – Select all the HP OfficeJet printer entries and uninstall them.
- Now go to Control panel – Devices and printer – Select all the printer entries and remove the device.
- Then press the "windows key" + "r" to get the "Run" window open - Type "printui.exe /s" and press enter.
- Under print server properties, go to drivers - remove any entry there as well.
- Again, go to run window, type – “c:/programdata” – Go to Hewlett Packard folder, remove any printer related folders & files.
To reinstall, click here: https://hp.care/2K3Gi2G.
Make sure UAC is set to low.
If the issue persists, let's try giving full permission to the printers folder and the printer.
1.) Open path C:/Windows/System32/Spool
2.) Right click on PRINTERS folder and select Properties
3.) Click Security tab.
4.) Click Advanced
5.) Under Permissions tab click Continue
6.) Allow Full control to all entries below Principal.
7.) Click Apply and Ok.
8.) Open Devices and Printers.
9.) Right-click the name of your printer and select Printer properties
10.) Click Security tab and give full permissions to all the entries under usernames or Group
11.) Restart the PC.
Let me know how this goes,
For I shall follow-up on this case to ensure the concern has been addressed,
And your device is up and running again,
Have a great day 🙂
Cheers 🙂

It used to work fine until last month. During that time I installed Bitdefender at my PC but I cannot say that this software is the problem since the printer works fine with all the other software and prints fine. It has this specific problem only with microsoft office.
Now, I followed your instructions but when it comes at the step with "printui.exe /s" the computer doesnt allow me to uninstal the printer's drivers for some reasons and says that the "hpvyt13.inf" fails to uninstall. Can you please help me with that?

Thanks for the reply,
It looks like you were interacting with Flower_Bud, but he is out for the day & I'll be glad to help you out.
I'm Raj1788 & I'm at your service.
I recommend you delete the driver at the root level and retry, follow the steps below:
1.) In Windows, search for and open Programs and features
2.) Select your HP Printer
3.) Select Uninstall
4.) In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers
5.) In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose `Delete' or `Remove Device'
6.) Open up the run command with the "Windows key + R" key combo.
7.) Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between "printui.exe" and "/s")
8.) Click on the "Drivers" tab
9.) Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom
10.) Select Ok
11.) Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows
12.) Close Devices and Printers
Then, install the drivers and check if this works.
Keep me posted.
Cheers:)
