HP Laserjet Pro MFP m225dw. After the print job is done, it's printing several pages with a few lines of "random" text.  First page says:

POST /ipp/printer HTTP.1.1

Content-Length: 179

Content -Type: application/ipp

Hi @IL_NUTS.

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It seems like your HP LaserJet Pro MFP m225dw might be experiencing a print job language or formatting issue. The text you provided appears to be part of a standard Internet Printing Protocol (IPP) request, which is a protocol used for printing on the Internet/intranet.

Here are a few steps you can take to address this issue.

  • Driver Update: Ensure that you have the latest printer driver installed on your computer. Go to the HP website or use the built-in driver update feature on your operating system to check for and install any available updates.
  • Connection Issue: Verify that your printer is properly connected to your computer and the network. If there are any connection issues, it might result in incorrect print jobs being sent to the printer.
  • Print Queue Inspection: Check the print queue on your computer to see if there are any additional print jobs in the queue after the intended document. If so, cancel them to prevent the extra pages from being printed.
  • Print Settings: Ensure that the print settings on your computer are correct. Check the page size, orientation, and other settings to make sure they match the requirements of your print job.
  • Network Configuration: If your printer is connected to a network, ensure that its network configuration is correct. Sometimes, network-related issues can cause unexpected print behavior.
  • Printer Firmware Update: Check if there is a firmware update available for your HP LaserJet Pro MFP m225dw. Firmware updates can address various issues and improve overall printer performance.
  • IPP Settings: Check the IPP settings on your computer and the printer. Ensure that the correct protocol and settings are selected. If necessary, reset the printer settings to default and reconfigure them.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
