HP OfficeJet 4630
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have been experiencing some printing error issues with my HP OfficeJet 4630.  I think I have the problem finally pinpointed but don't know how to keep this from reoccurring.  The HP OfficeJet 4640 does not like printing the Test pages from the HP Printer/Scan Doctor. In fact once it is in the print que it really does not like being deleted, This is holding up other print jobs, I can't even pause it and print something else.  It's like the memory in the printer is being held hostage.  Does anyone know how to correct this issue.

Welcome to HP Forums, this is a great place to get support, find answers and tips, Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you out 🙂

I see that you are unable to delete the print job in the queue and once you click on print. To fix this issue, I suggest uninstalling and reinstalling the printer driver.

Use the method below to remove all existing print drivers installed on your PC:
1.) In Windows, search for and open Apps & features.
2.) Select your HP Printer
3.) Select Uninstall
4.) In Windows, search for and open Printers &Scanners
5.) In the Printers &Scanners windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose 'Delete' or 'Remove Device'
6.) Open up the run command with the "Windows key + R" key combo.
7.) Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between “printui.exe” and “/s”)
8.) Click on the "Drivers" tab
9.) Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom
10.) Select Ok
11.) Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows
12.) Close Devices and Printers
Once the drivers are removed, download and install the software and driver : Click here
