HP OFFICEJET 8710 "THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH THE SUPPLY SYSTEM. TRY REPLACING THE AFFECTED CARTRIDGE WITH A DIFFERENT ..........." I JUST REPLACED ALL THE CARTRIDGES AND NO CHANGE.

Hi @ELLISAPRL 

 

Here are some things you can try if your HP OfficeJet Pro 8710 All-in-One Printer is displaying a supply system error: 

 

 

  • Check the ink cartridges: Remove the cartridges, clean the copper contacts on the cartridges and inside the printer, and then reinstall them. 

 

 

  • Clean the cartridge vents: Remove the cartridges, clean the vents with a pin or paper clip, and then reinstall them. 

 

 

  • Reset the printer: Turn off the printer, unplug it, wait 60 seconds, and then plug it back in and turn it on. 

 

 

  • Update the printer firmware: Check for firmware updates for your printer. 

 

 

  • Check for blockages: Make sure there's no packing material in the printer or on the cartridges. 

 

 

  • Clean the printhead: Try cleaning the printhead.
