Hi There,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
The behaviour you're describing with your HP LaserJet Pro MFP M126nw printing only half a page, showing an error, and delaying print jobs by a day strongly suggests a firmware, memory buffer, or print spooler issue, possibly combined with a driver or connectivity fault.
Let’s go through a structured fix:
1. Clear Print Spooler (Windows)
Corrupted print jobs can cause delays or partial prints.
Steps:
- Press Windows + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.
- Scroll to Print Spooler, right-click, and select Stop.
- Go to C:\Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS and delete all files.
- Go back to services.msc, right-click Print Spooler, and select Start.
2. Update Printer Firmware
Outdated firmware can cause memory handling issues.

Download and install the latest firmware for your model.
3. Reinstall Printer Drivers
Corrupt or outdated drivers can cause print errors.
Steps:
- Uninstall the printer from Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners.
- Restart your PC.
- Download the latest full feature software and drivers from HP: 👉 HP LaserJet Pro MFP M126nw | HP® Support
4. Check USB or Network Connection
- If using a USB, try a different port or cable.
- If using Wi-Fi, ensure the printer is on the same network and has a strong signal.
- Print a Network Configuration Page from the printer to verify the connection.
5. Reset the Printer
To clear internal memory and errors:
- Turn off the printer.
- Unplug it from the wall for 60 seconds.
- Plug it back in and turn it on.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have an amazing day!
