Hi @printerillitera,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand the issue you're describing with your HP ENVY 6055 All-In-One Printer printing blank pages with the HP logo and colored symbols may be due to a few possible factors, including miscommunication between the printer and your PC, incorrect printer settings, or a driver-related issue. Here are some steps you can follow to troubleshoot and resolve the problem:

1. Check Printer Status (Online/Offline)

  • Ensure your printer is online and not in offline mode.
    • On your PC, go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers (or Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners on Windows 11).
    • Right-click on the HP ENVY 6055 and make sure that "Use Printer Offline" is unchecked.
    • If the printer is showing as offline, try restarting both the printer and your computer.

2. Clear Print Queue

  • Sometimes, stuck print jobs can cause issues.
    • Open Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
    • Right-click on the printer and select See what's printing.
    • Cancel all print jobs in the queue.
    • Restart the printer and try printing again.

3. Check Printer Ink Levels

  • Ensure the ink levels are sufficient, especially for the black ink cartridge.
    • You can check ink levels from the HP Smart App or the printer display if applicable.

4. Print a Test Page

  • Print a test page directly from the printer to ensure the printhead and cartridges are functioning correctly.
    • Press and hold the Information button on the printer for about 5 seconds until a test page prints.
    • If the test page prints correctly, it indicates that the issue might be with the communication between the printer and your computer.

5. Reinstall or Update Printer Driver

  • Outdated or corrupted drivers can cause printing issues.
    • Uninstall the printer driver from Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
    • Download the latest driver from the HP support website and install it.

6. Reset the Printer

  • Resetting the printer can help clear any temporary glitches.
    • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
    • Wait for about 60 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on.

7. Check Printer Settings in HP Smart App

  • Open the HP Smart App on your computer.
    • Ensure that your printer is connected and set as the default printer.
    • Check if the app shows any errors or warnings related to the printer.

8. Try Printing from Another Device

  • To identify if the issue is PC-related, try printing from another device, such as a mobile phone or tablet using the HP Smart App.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
