Communication error between the main board and the printhead. Make sure that you are using a direct plug into the wall and not a surge protector.
Perform a power drain- unplug printer and leave unplugged for at least ten seconds. Then reattach the power and try.
If that does not work, remove all the print cartridges and try the power drain with no cartridges
If that does not work, it is possible that the cables between the printhead and main board need to be reseated. If that does not resolve the issue, unless it is under warranty, purchase a new printer as the parts cost exceeds the value of the printer.
