Still shows old version (Aug 11 2132A) - and I've been checking that religiously for updates for weeks now ! However, upon checking a couple of in-the-field printers - does appear to have updated to 2142A as you say, thanks ! Mike Risner reports same

Correct, the download page still shows the old version. That‘s why I don’t have release notes. 

But the printer found the new version. Guess it will go online officially the next days.

Firmware files for 477 and 577 are different.

HP is at least very consistent in communication. The AirPrint Problem never exists so it can't be mentioned as fix in release notes!
