So I received the “Paper Jam” message. I opened the second tray and the rear door. I moved the paper up to get a good hold of it and slowly tried to remove the paper from the rear of the printer but then it ripped and now it’s stuck between the rear and where the paper comes out when printed. I’ve tried to reset the printer and get it to print something to try and move the paper out but nothing is working and I can’t get access to that part of the printer (lots of screws in the way and I’m not sure if it even is accessible).
The printer is out of warranty as it’s at least 3 years old now. Can I fix this or should I save for a new one 😭

On this engine type you need to remove side and back panels so that you can remove the fuser unit from the printer to properly remove the jam without damaging anything. There are sites that post service manuals that show the steps required. As you do not state the actual model I cannot provide more detailed instructions.
