Following a paper jam in my printer which was cleanly ceared the print is now offset to the right by some 3.5cms. I have downloaded the latest printer drivers for my MacBook Pro to no avail and the printer tool for realignment stalls after about 15 mins.

How can I realign the printer to print corretly?

Hello brerbear,

Have you tried hard resetting the printer? If not here are the steps to do so:

 

  1. Unplug the printer while it's still on.
  2. Hold the power button for 60 seconds.
  3. Plug the printer back in.

It sounds like you may have some paper still inside the printer, follow this document for a step by step for where to check:

Thanks for your suggestion, towards th end of the video link the solution to the problem was found and all is working OK now.
