Paper handling problems with my HP Photosmart 7510
Hello, I had paper jams several times ago when printing with my HP Photosmart 7510 printer and the paper got stuck in the printer and had to be removed. It had often pulled several sheets in at a time and blocked the print. Unfortunately, the paper feed no longer works. When you start printing, you can hear the sound of the rolls, but the rolls no longer feed the paper into the printer. If I help with it by hand and push the paper in enough, it prints normally.
I suspect that the spiral spring that presses the paper transport rollers onto the paper has been expanded too much due to the repeated paper jam and that the two rollers no longer exert enough pressure on the paper. Unfortunately I don't get this spring, otherwise I would have shortened it or replaced it. How can I get this coil spring at the printer without much effort?
I also cleaned all the drive rollers as indicated in the YouTube video and also tentatively reset the printer and checked the paper settings. However, the printer error still persists.
What can I do, what do you recommend to me?
Mfg Roland Haueter

Hi @Skorpion44

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Appreciate you trying the steps. This looks like a hardware issue, I'd suggest you Contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your printer.

If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.

Have a great day!
