I'd be so grateful for your advice!
Each time I print one image, the printer takes one piece of paper, prints a third of the image and then takes a second piece.
The printer then prints the second third of the image on this piece of paper and then takes the third piece of paper onto which it prints the final third of the image.
So I end up with three pieces of paper with one image spread over them. Very frustrating!

Hello @Pin55 – Hope you are well 🙂
Thanks for reaching out! I would like to be of your assistance!
I understand that you are having issues while printing photos on your printer. To assist you with this issue, I need to know whether the printer can make a "Photocopy" or not.
Place a document face down on the scanner glass and press the copy option on the printer control panel. Let me know if it makes a good copy or not.
If the copy comes out good, then the issue could be with the printer drivers. Follow the steps mentioned below:
- Unplug the USB cable from the printer and computer if present.
- Go to Control panel – Programs and feature – Select all the HP Deskjet printer entries and uninstall them.
- Restart your computer.
- Now click on http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/COL42531/al-109467-2/DJ2510_1313-1.exe to download and install the printer drivers.
- Connect the USB cable if prompted and follow the onscreen instructions to complete the installation.
- Once the printer is installed, open the picture using the "Windows Photo Viewer" and then try to print again.
Please let me know if this resolves the issue, or if you require further assistance.
Good luck & Wish you a very happy new year 🙂

Hi DVortex,
Thanks for advise. I'm not actually printing photos; by 'image' I just mean a page of print.
Yes, my printer copies perfectly, so it sounds like it's the printer drivers. I'll have a go tomorrow when I've got more time...
Many thanks!
