Android 9.0 Pie

Printing from Android 11 printer gives error code E1 'paper size mismatched detected". Plain Letter size paper in printer but it thinks it has 5x7 glossy photo paper loaded. I'm using same paper and same phone I've always used without issues in the past. I didn't change anything but suddenly I'm having this issue. Persistently. I've gone into my settings and the only paper size I have checked is letter. I'm ready to throw this printer at the wall! Someone please help me. TIA

Printer: HP Deskjet 2700 all in one series

Model: 2752

P/N: 8RK11A

S/N: CNOA54W3S1

I'm printing from my phone which is Android 11 using Wi-Fi Direct. Paper loaded is plain white letter size paper. But the printer thinks it has 5x7 glossy photo paper.

I looked online for some troubleshooting help. I did the whole thing where you have the printer on and unplug it from the wall and the printer, wait a few minutes, plug back into the printer and the wall outlet directly ( no extension cord or surge protector ). That's supposed to reset it I guess? That did not work. I also tried holding the power and I think it was cancel button for 30 seconds and it's supposed to reset it I think? That also did nothing.

Every time I try to print it acts like it's going to work it starts to feed the paper but before it actually prints, it stops and says error E1.I have to hit the cancel button for it to just spit out the paper unprinted. I've tried changing the setting for paper to letter before I print but that causes the same issue. One time I just allowed it to think there was 5x7 paper and I did get it to actually print. But it was not 5x7 size. The picture was about one square inch right in the middle of the paper.
