Regardless of OS used, jobs using photo paper always give a partial print, never more than half the page. Top half, if that helps. Also, every page has lines going down the back of the paper. Printer worked more or less fine for 1 year using the same paper. Jobs printed to cheap paper stock print just fine.

I'm using standard 8.5" x 11" paper. We have tried the steps suggested with little improvement. The printer will intermittently print the page correctly, but we always get the streaking down the back of the page.

For the vertical lines, let us try these troubleshooting steps that may resolve this issue:

Step 1: Clean the printhead

  1. On the printer control panel, swipe down to open the Dashboard, and then touch the Setup icon .

  2. Swipe up on the display, and then touch Printer Maintenance.

  3. Touch Clean Printhead, and then touch Continue.

    A test page prints.

  4. If the print quality is unacceptable, touch Clean Again to continue the next level of cleaning. Repeat these steps for the third cleaning stage, if necessary.

Step 2: Clean the paper feed rollers

Perform step 3 from this document.

Try to print and check.
