How can I adjust the length of time that the printer pauses between pages while duplex printing (both sides)?
I feel that when printing just plain text, the pause time can be shortened. It takes forever to print a short document when printing on both sides of the page.
Thank you

If the option is available it would be in the Advanced settings as a slider for "Dry Time". I do not know if this will be an option for the Envy 5660 series driver, it has been a while since I have seen that option.
The risk of setting too short a time is the ink will smear when pulled back into the printer to print the back side. This will leave ink on rollers and other places it should not be, which can cause print quality issues with subsequent pages as well as premature printer failure.

Thanks for the reply.
There is no option in any of the printer settings. I thought maybe there was something I was missing.
I have had other printers where that was an adjustable setting to account for pages that had more ink usage (i.e photos or graphics within the document). Single side pages don't smear ink when they come out of the printer on top of each other, so I was confused by the relatively long drying time with duplex printing. But if it's intended to protect the inner operation of the printer, then it's a good thing. I'll just have to adjust my routine accordingly.
Thanks again for your reply.
