Thank you.

I have sent my details via private message and, on Friday, received a phone call from HP support in my country.  He asked me if I had any 4" x 6" photo paper which I had but couldn't put my hands on at that time.  When he phoned back later he said that he'd looked into it and that my printer wasn't meant to print on A4 photo paper.

I started researching online to buy another printer as I wanted one with a scanner that is at least as good as the one on the Envy 5544 and came across specifications for the Envy 5544 which said borderless photo sizes 3.95"x5.9" and 8.5"x11.7" (ie A4)!! So why did the HP Support guy say that it wasn't meant to print on A4 photo paper?  I was in the supermarket earlier this afternoon and saw some HP A4 glossy photo paper which states "works with all inkjet printers" so decided to buy some and it worked!  I'd like to say it was thanks to HP Support but it wasn't.  I hope it carries on working but I don't know what I'm going to do with the almost 3  packs of Kodak photo paper that I have.
