Hi @JudyC4,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like your HP OfficeJet Pro 9015 is having trouble with photo printing. Here are a few steps to troubleshoot and hopefully fix the issue.

Check Ink Cartridges:

  • Ensure that the ink cartridges are full and properly installed. Low or old ink can cause issues like blurry or wet prints.
  • Try removing and reinserting the cartridges, or replace them if they are low or expired.

Use the Correct Paper:

  • Make sure you’re using the right type of photo paper recommended for your printer. Using regular paper or paper that isn’t designed for photos might cause the ink to smudge or not dry properly.

Print Settings:

  • Ensure that you have selected the right print settings for photos. Go to Printer Properties and set the paper type to "Photo Paper" and the print quality to "Best."
  • You can also enable the "Borderless" option if you want edge-to-edge printing.

Paper Handling:

  • If you're printing multiple photos at once, make sure the printed sheets are being pulled out or fed through the printer properly. Sometimes, paper can stick or be misaligned if too much moisture is on it.

Clean Printer Heads:

  • Run a cleaning cycle from the printer’s maintenance settings. This can help clear any dried ink or debris from the printhead, which may be contributing to the blurry print.

Drying Time:

  • Allow the prints to dry completely before handling them. Sometimes the ink can appear wet when it’s just freshly printed, but if the prints are blurry even after drying, it could indicate an issue with the ink or printhead.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
