@BaBycAkes_25, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding a photo tray problem!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

It sounds like your HP Envy Inspire 7258e is experiencing an issue with the photo tray, possibly due to a paper jam, misalignment, or a hardware malfunction. Here’s what you can try to fix it:

Check for Paper Jams

  1. Turn off the printer and unplug it.
  2. Open the front panel and carefully remove any stuck paper from the photo tray.
  3. Make sure no small bits of paper are left inside.

Ensure Proper Tray Alignment

  1. Remove the photo tray completely.
  2. Reinsert it gently, ensuring it clicks into place properly.
  3. Try printing again.

Reset the Printer

  1. Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  2. Wait for about 60 seconds before plugging it back in.
  3. Turn it on and check if the issue persists.

Update the Printer Firmware

  1. Open the HP Smart app on your Android device.
  2. Go to Printer Settings > Advanced Settings > Firmware Update and install any available updates.

Let me know if you need further help!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
